Necklace - Vintage Amethyst

Beautiful vintage 15ct gold amethyst necklace with 16 uniformally coloured oval faceted, deep purple amethysts.  Each amethyst is separated by ornate twin gold links which terminate in a secure chain and clasp, hallmarked 15ct. 

The necklace measures 37.5 cm (14.8 in) and is in excellent condition.  There is abrasion to the facet edge of one amethyst, but this is only visible with a jewellers lens. The other 15 amethysts are in near perfect condition.
