Brooch - Victorian Aquamarine

Lovely 18ct gold Victorian brooch with five oval brilliant cut, pale blue aquamarines which are claw set in an ornate floral mount. The aquamarines have combined estimated weights of:

• two at 3.50cts
• two at 2.95cts
• one at 1ct.

The booch is in excellent condition with no obvious damage. It is circa 1880. The pin and clasp have been changed at some stage in the past.  One aquamarine has a visible natural inclusion.

The brooch is 4cm (1.6 inches) wide and 3.5cm (1.4 inches) in height. It comes with a valuation from a registered Australian jewellery valuer.
