Edwardian Era (1900-1910)

The Belle Époque or beautiful era - delicate and elegant designs became the hallmark of Edwardian jewellery, with jewellers using filigree white gold or platinum, diamonds and pearls to create light, feminine jewels that resembled lace. Tiaras and other jewels for the hair became fashionable and were often combined with beautiful gem-set pendant earrings.
