Antique Gold & Turquoise Gate Link Bracelet

Classical antique gate link bracelet crafted in 15ct gold with eight decorative links, each of which is set with a cabochon cut turquoise. 

The bracelet measures 18 cm (7.1 inches) and is in pristine condition.  It is hallmarked with 15ct and comes in its original fitted leather box, which no longer has its label.  The clasp is secure and it has a safety chain.

Turquoise has been widely used in jewellery since the eighteenth century and was used extensivley in sentimental jewellery during the Victorian era due to its unique sky blue colour - the colour of the forget-me-not flower.
